La Retraite Carp Fishing is a mature, tree lined, private 2.5 acre spring fed lake, yet contains four extremely neat and well presented swims to choose from - accommodating a maximum of three anglers, there is plenty of room to fish in water depths of up to 7ft.

La Retraite Carp Fishing has not been commercially fished for some considerable time and this is why there are currently limited pictures of people catching the fish! We have just began an  over-winter feeding programme to encourage and maintain competitive growth of the already large fish. These fish are therefore in immaculate condition and wiley and tricky to catch.

The Lodge has recently undergone a complete upgrade and has been been completed to a high standard and will suit couples and fishermen alike. There are also two fishing lodges which can house two anglers with their own fishing bedchairs (pictured centre bottom below). They come complete with solar lighting, charging points. Save money and cut out the hassle, no need to bring your bivvy, all you need is your beds and fishing equipment!
