LAKE RULES

There are only a few rules in order to safeguard the health and safety of all anglers, guests and fish.

 

Please:

  • The welfare of our fish is of paramount importance and all anglers are asked to treat the fish with respect at all times. Any angler that is seen to be mistreating a fish will be removed immediately without refund.

  • Use barbless/Micro barb single hooks only. Max size 4

  • Treat any hook marks or damage with Medi-carp, Clinic or similar.

  • Use only mono main lines - no braid please.

  • Change hooks regularly.

  • Never leave rods unattended at any time.

  • Use the unhooking mats provided at all times and do not leave any fish unattended on mats.

  • If in doubt ask a bailiff for advice.

  • No sacks or keep nets.

  • Do not exceed the maximum 3-rod rule.

  • Do not use shockleaders, lead core, permanently fixed leads or tether rigs.

  • Banned rigs - Ronnie, Helicopter, 360, Spinner, zig rigs. Plus any other rig that can spin 360 degrees.

  • No particle, tiger nuts, peanuts or plastic baits etc. to be used.

  • Do not bring unhooking mats or cradles (these are provided and the use of which is included in the booking price).

  •  Please unhook and photograph all fish in the water, we supply a floating cradle for this purpose.Waders will be required

  • Always use the toilets provided and not the bushes.

  • Anyone intoxicated, rude, excessively loud or unsafe will be asked to leave immediately without refund.

  • It is not possible to fish at night whilst sleeping within the accommodation. |If you wish to night fish please do so from a bivvy or anglers cabin.

GENERAL RULES

 

Please:

  • Treat the Lake, grounds and accommodation with respect at all times.

  • Please do not flush tampons, sanitary towels, condoms, cotton wool pads, cotton wool buds, make-up wipes, kitchen towels or moist toilet tissues due to the septic tank.

  • Please do not smoke inside the lodge 

  • Please leave your accommodation clean and tidy at the end of your stay.

  • Do not wear muddy boots or any other dirty footwear indoors.

  • Do not start fires outside as it is not permitted in this region.

  • Please advise us of any breakages or faulty equipment.

  • Please place all rubbish in the bags and bins provided.

  • Please do not remove any towels or bedding.

  • Dogs are allowed (by prior arrangement). Please not on the beds or furniture.

  • Children under 12 are not allowed unless by prior agreement.
